Hi! I’m Emily.
I currently live in Montana, but grew up in the PNW (Washington and Oregon). I enjoy creating letter art, doing puzzles while listening to audiobooks, and spending time with my husband and kids.
Print design is my passion. I love the feel of the paper and the way a design transfers from digital to physical. It is so much fun to create things that I know people will see for sometimes years to come.
I started out my career in graphic design by working for a kids’ magazine, and later taught basic design to high schoolers in Asia. I spent time as the designer at a small sign shop—one of the best experiences ever! Today, I freelance from home. Each of these experiences has taught me new things and broadened my appreciation for great design. I’m always pushing myself to learn something new!
I’m a mom of two kids - a boy and a girl.
As a kid, I published my own one-pager family newsletter entitled “The Pony Express”.
I’ve moved over 25 times in my life, including internationally.
My favorite cuisines include Thai, Cambodian, Italian, and Mexican.
My husband and I are attempting to raise our kids bilingually (English and Khmer/Cambodian).
